Governance Structure
The Northwest Institute of Research, incorporated in 1975 as a 501 (c)(3) organization, currently has a 5- member Board of Directors. Click here for the BOD lists.

Our bylaws were updated in 2007, when NWIR was reconstituted to administer the NW Regional Key. At this point in time, NWIR established a new board and mission statement for the organization. Click here for the NWIR By-laws.

NWIR’s Board of Directors meetings are held bi-annually, in February and August of each year. Click here for a copy of the BOD minutes.

Our current organizational structure consists of management and support personnel who also serve in similar capacities to NWIR’s affiliated organization, KeyStone Research Corporation (see www.ksrc.biz ). Other NWIR personnel are dedicated to the Northwest Regional Key, the quality improvement program for early care and education funded through the Office of Child Development and Early Learning at the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare and Department of Education (see www.nwregionalkey.org).
